Head of Business Development
Location: Andover Job Type: Permanent Salary: £40k - £50k (Plus an additional bonus of up to £18k based on £10m per month opportunity handovers.)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning, design-led and market-focused company as the Head of Business Development. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding the business. Working closely with cross-functional teams, it manages and identifies new opportunities through lead generation and marketing. It is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and enhancing revenue streams.
Responsibilities of the Head of Business Development:
Business Development
- Management: Manages, leads and motivates an international team of six Business Development Executives, ensuring their output and targets are consistently achieved.
- Relationship Building: Cultivates strong relationships with long-term prospects and builds a high-quality pipeline.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Carries out telemarketing calls to create new opportunities while managing the CRM. Vets opportunities and ensures high-quality leads are generated for the business.
- Revenue Growth: Drives revenue growth through effective business development strategies and initiatives.
- Onboarding: Recruits and onboards additional team members as required by the business.
Marketing
- Marketing Strategy: Provides direction and strategy to the marketing department, optimising outbound marketing and the website to achieve the best results for the business.
- Social Media & Website: Assists with and provides content for the company’s social media, mailshots, news and website.
- Marketing Campaigns: Sets up, runs and supports regular, focused marketing campaigns and client newsletters.
- Marketing Events: Assists with the management, planning and delivery of events and trade shows when required.

- Travel internationally to attend events when required.
CRM Management
- Assist project consultants (sales team) in managing and updating the CRM for all opportunities.
